Ideal retreat for a couple, lots of lovely walks. Also ideal for cyclists. Many places of interest off the beaten track to visit, best of all a choice of gastro pub and resturant meals within a couple of minutes walk from property.

Beautiful location, a stonesthrow from long sandy beach. Very quiet but located in area with lots to see either by car or by bike as next to Tarka Trail. Owners very friendly and can't do enough for you - made to feel very welcome. Would book again if go to this area of Devon again.

Fanastic location with a very warm welcome. Devon cream tea delicious after a long journey. Owner was very helpful with area information - places to visit, eat and shop. Mytle loft was extremely well equipped and offered comfortable home from home enviroment. We would heartily recommend to all who wish to visit North Devon and Exmoor areas.

Myrtle loft was the cleanest, prettiest cottage we have ever stayed in. Perfectly located cloase to local amenities with beautiful views across the estuary and close to all the main attractions in North Devon. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to go back!

I was attracted to this place by the photos on the web site and its nearness to the water. It did not disappoint in any way at all. We were delighted by the high quality of all the amenities within the cottage, the warm welcome and the fact that we were taking this holiday over new year but were kept beautifully warm the whole time. A real home from home. I could not recommend it more highly.

The accommodation and owners welcome was everything you could wish for. The local bus service was excellent and the location was stunningly beautiful. It was hard to see how it could have been improved.

Very welcoming (and unexpected) cream tea on arrival and the owners were very helpful but not intrusive. A wonderful property and highly recommended for a very relaxing holiday in North Devon with easy access to places to visit.

Myrtle Loft is just lovely and there was a delicious cream tea waiting for us on arrival!! Instow is a pretty unspoilt small town with good pubs and restaurants - a great place to get away from it all!
